Kirby Vacuum G6, Avalir Motor Hose End, suction blower fits G5-Avalir 210014
Genuine Kirby
This Avalir/G6 onyx hose end will fit the Generation 5, Six, Ultimate G, and Sentria Kirby Models, but I usually have the other hose ends listed. Kirby no longer ships the G5 color and recommend this for that model.
To replace the hose end, insert a medium flat screwdriver between the hose cuff and the hose end, (from the inside) and collapse the hose cuff, now pull the hose end from the hose. You may also use your thumb to do this, I use my thumb.  To install the new hose end simply push it over the lip of the hose collapsed cuff.
Both procedures are greatly simplified if you will warm the hose cuff first. Do this by immersing in hot water, or with a hair dryer.

If you look at the part number on your part it will read 210097 which is the G5 part number. The reason for this is that this casting is the same as the G5. Kirby injects this color into the G5 mold.
